Ever wish you had a personal shopper? Are there already spring items you hope Chestnut Hill will carry next season? Well, now you can have a say.

Take a simple survey covering two avenue retail shops, and send the owners shopping for you this spring!

To build business, you lead with your strengths. That’s why Word Work, a marketing communications firm at Germantown and Willow Grove, asked the owners of the popular Artisans on the Avenue and Mango to host a shopper survey.

These sister-location shops in the 8400 block feature fun and fabulous jewelry, accessories and clothing, as well as some nifty gift items. They are grateful for what was a more robust holiday season, and they want to know what women (and men!) want when they visit their store in 2010.

Pam Learned, president of Word Work and creator of HillontheAvenue, worked with fellow Vacancy–err–make that Occupancy Committee member, Jaime Flaherty, to develop this survey and circulate it.

Pam is a board member at the Chestnut Hill Business Association, and she’s served on various CHBA committees. Inspired by the opportunity that good communication brings, Pam has been listening to the needs of both shoppers and business owners and she thinks this survey is the start of an important conversation that will help bring positive change on Germantown Ave.

The results will be shared with the owners and shoppers (anonymously) at a special wine and cheese evening at Artisans on the Avenue and Mango on Tuesday, Jan. 12, at 7 p.m.

Please take the survey, then RSVP to the party!
