"Picture the Dead" Adele Griffin & Lisa Brown will read from their new YA novel about Jennie, a girl living with her fiance’s family during the Civil War. Jennie must solve the mystery of her fiance’s death with the help of his spirit, a spiritualist photographer, and the clues she collects in her scrapbook before she loses her home, her fortune, and possibly her life.

Join Amy Ignatow for a party marking the release of her new book The Popularity Papers. Amy is known locally as the cartoonist in the Mt. Airy Independent who does the "New to Mt. Airy" cartoons. She'll be meeting and greeting, doing drawing demonstrations, and signing hot off the presses, first edition copies of her book, which are now and will be on sale then in our bookstore. Fun for all!
